Car bodyshop – don’t grind!

100% spatter free spotwelding or laser-welding is a theory. But the body in white must not be grinded to keep the highest corrosion protection level of the car body. So, how can you prevent spatter from sticking in?

The bio-chemical fluid Metallotion PROTEC CE15L+ provides a protective layer, fully compliant with coatings. Spatter is visible but does not burn into the surface. This means: no grinding, no unproductive cleaning work. The car body can go right to the paint shop after quality check.

Test PROTEC – you will see that weld spatter can just be wiped off. Skip grinding off the zinc coating.
