Cleaning and coating with Wire-Balm PROTEC WLS
Function PROTEC TCS-2U
PROTEC TCS-2U coats and cleans wires with the use of two twin substrate disks.
The substrate disks are rotated gradually by a gear motor (control box available).
The surface condition of the substrate disks can be checked during the ongoing process via the differential ring surface of the two disks ("differential disks”) (a patented PROTEC process).
Cleaning and coating with Wire-Balm PROTEC WLS
A controlled amount of PROTEC WIRE COATING-FLUID (e.g. Wire-Balm PROTEC WLS04) is applied to the first twin disk and dissolves residues and impurities on the wire surface (drip feeder available).
The second twin disk removes the dissolved residues and wipes away any excess fluid.
A very thin film of the PROTEC WIRE COATING-FLUID remains on the surface and ensures constant, sound friction coefficients in wire processing.

PROTEC TCS-2U was developed for use in wire production and can also be used by the final workstep user (e.g. robot welding).
