Welding produces spattering, whether MAG welding, spot welding, laser welding or CuSi brazing. Even optimized processes don't entirely do away with spattering in practice, for instance in confined or covered situations, when igniting or with special material pairing.

PROTEC Bio Anti-Spatter Fluids are applied in a thin layer onto the surface requiring protection prior to welding or cutting. To apply the fluid we recommend using manual PROTEC spray guns or automats. A thin, sealed film provides sufficient protection. PROTEC Bio Anti-Spatter fluids can be welded over wet with no porosity formation – even in the case of product accumulation!
